Recent Events

This past weekend, Grassbaugh spoke at the JFK Dinner in Morrow Co. In his speech, Grassbaugh highlighted his plan to work with Governor Strickland and other State Officials to Turn Around Ohio in 2008. He looks forward to meeting with citizens of the 90th District in the coming months and to listen to their concerns about the pressent and future of the State of Ohio.

Mary Rugola-Dye, Campaign Chair, attended the JJ Dinner in Richland County held at the UAW Local 549 Union Hall in Ontario. Candidate for the Ohio Supreme Court, Judge Peter Sikora and keynote Speaker, Todd Book, the Assistant Minority Leader for the Ohio House of Representatives, addressed over 200 guests.  Both Sikora and Book emphasized the importance of electing our Democratic State Representative Candidates in order to acheive a majority in the State House.

The DIY Campaign

Although you might hear about the national candidates raising unbelievable amounts of money for their campaigns, the truth is that most state and local races do not have that much cash to throw around. While the Grassbaugh campaign is doing its fair share of fundraising, we do what we can to keep costs low and make sure we can save our resources for the important battles to come.

One of the ways we conserve is by creating much of our campaign material ourselves, with volunteer time and talents. Luckily, we have a graphic designer on the committee!

Here are some pictures from tonight’s DIY campaign session:
